Refund & Dispute Policy
Refunds for APABET SAFEZONE certificate purchases. Last updated: 7 October 2026.
In short: certificates are digital and delivered by email straight after payment, so they are generally not refundable once issued. If something went wrong on our side, we will fix it or refund you.
Certificates are digital and issued immediately
When your payment is verified, your certificate is generated and emailed to you right away. The training itself is free to use before you ever pay for certification, and the certificate is delivered instantly after a successful payment, so certificate purchases are generally non-refundable once the certificate has been successfully issued.
If your payment succeeded but you never received your certificate
First, please check your spam, junk or promotions folder, as certificate emails are sometimes filtered there by mistake. If you still cannot find it, and your payment was taken more than 24 hours ago, something has gone wrong on our end. Email us with your payment reference and the email address you used.
Within 3 business days we will do one of the following:
- resend your certificate, if we can confirm your payment was successful; or
- issue a full refund, if we cannot deliver your certificate.
Duplicate or incorrect charges
If you were charged more than once for the same certificate, or charged the wrong amount, email us with your payment reference. We will refund the duplicate or the difference within 5 business days of confirming the error.
A mistake in the name on your certificate
The name is the one you typed when you claimed the certificate. If it contains a mistake, email us and we will correct it where we reasonably can.
Free certificates
Certificates marked free cost nothing, so no refund applies.
Your legal rights
This policy does not take away any rights you have under Nigerian consumer protection law.
Before you dispute a charge with your bank
If something seems wrong with a payment, please contact us first. Most issues can be sorted out directly, and faster, than through a bank dispute or chargeback. We are a small Nigerian consultancy and we would rather fix the problem with you.

This policy applies to certificate purchases made through APABET SAFEZONE. It does not cover separate consulting or training services contracted directly with Apabet Consulting Limited. See also our Terms & Conditions.
